Meet your Botanical Guide and fellow travellers today at your Perth hotel. Take a city tour, including Kings Park with 400 hectares of delightful gardens and more than 1,700 native species. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner this evening.

Stay: Crowne Plaza or similar
This morning journey to Bindoon to visit a native wildflower farm. Afterwards, on our way to Geraldton, we will stop for some wildflower viewing.
The surrounding region is a haven for native flowering plants and wildlife, while, during this season, a wealth of wildflower species come into bloom, including dampiera, hibbertia and melaleuca.

Stay: Nesuto Geraldton or similar – 2 nights
Explore the local area and continue to discover the amazing diversity of wildflowers in season. Thousands of wildflower species are found throughout regions of Western Australia in one of the world’s most spectacular floral displays, from wattles to wisterias and varieties of kangaroo paw to native orchids.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Travel to Nambung National Park and marvel at the ancient limestone pillars known as the Pinnacles. Formed over 25,000 years ago from an accumulation of sea shell deposits, these structures were gradually stripped of their surrounding sands by the coastal winds, leaving the otherworldly formations we today see scattered throughout the landscape. Afterwards, travel to Fremantle.

This morning, you’ll visit a beautiful private garden and enjoy a guided tour and morning tea. Afterwards, embark on a relaxing cruise along the Swan River to Perth, taking in the sights as you enjoy lunch. Watch for riverine birdlife and perhaps glimpse the dolphins that inhabit these waters. This afternoon, spend some free time in Perth before travelling back to Fremantle.

Today, enjoy a scenic drive to the celebrated coastal town of Albany. On the way, visit The Williams Woolshed, a collection of retail stores and cafe. Afterwards, stop for lunch in Kojonup, home of the Noongar people, the traditional land-owners of Western Australia’s southwest. Later this afternoon, we arrive in Albany, Western Australia’s oldest European settlement, awash with colonial, naval and whaling history.

Stay: Dog Rock Hotel or Similar – 2 nights
This morning, discover the native flora in Albany’s surrounding area. Wildflower species found here include thousands of varieties of rare orchids, which will be in bloom at this time. Continue to the Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory, which produces aromatic body care products. Later, enjoy exploring Banksia Farm and explore this wildflower wonderland on a guided tour with a resident expert.

Walk among the tree canopy as you explore the Valley of the Giants Tree Top walk. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view over giant tingle trees, some dating back 400 years. This afternoon we visit Chestnut Brae, a picturesque 70-acre sweet chestnut and daffodil farm, before arriving in Margaret River.

Stay: Quality Inn Margaret River or similar – 2 nights
This morning we have a special visit to Swallows Welcome, which is both a private garden and the studio of artist Patricia Negus. Admire some 100 watercolour paintings Patricia has on display, depicting many wildflower species. Afterwards, spend some free time in Margaret River. We then enjoy viewing another private garden, before calling in on the renowned Leeuwin Estate for a wine tasting.

This morning we visit the magnificent Paul Bangay-designed Secret Garden. The garden is set within a pristine peppermint forest and sits beside the idyllic Wilyabrup Brook. We then travel north to the small town of Dwellingup, to enjoy the grounds of the grand Orondo Farm Garden. The property is made up of the Orondo Gardens, Orondo Orchard and Orondo Vineyards. Enjoy a guided tour of the gardens before transferring to Perth. Your tour concludes today at the Crowne Plaza Perth Hotel.
